This study explores how the small and medium-sized enterprises(SMEs) which provide logistics service could strengthen competitiveness and raise their market power through decreasing opportunity cost caused by information asymmetry. We assume that a consumer has a heterogeneity of preference for logistics service quality, but the SMEs gain a discount of service level provided. The benchmark model faces two types of companies to offer their maximized profit under the Cournot competition. We allow for the possibility that SMEs use the signaling to notice their quality level. The result suggests, firms having high service quality increase sales and profit under specific price criteria by signaling. We also consider an information-sharing platform that guarantees the perfect transparency of the level of service quality and plays a critical role. Our result shows that SMEs qualified as a high level of logistics service expand market share.

This study analyzed the influential factors of the autonomous vehicle acceptance and purchasing intention by autonomous vehicle acceptance model (AVAM). To perform this study, 554 persons who have driver's license were analyzed by using structural equation model (SEM). The reliability and validity of the research model were verified, and the model fit was also appropriate for hypothesis verification. Research result reveals that acceptance intention and purchase intention are positively affected by performance expectancy, hedonic motivation and anxiety. On the other hand conducted analysis shows that effort expectancy did not have influence on the acceptance and purchase intention. Through the analysis of the mediating effect on acceptance intention, it was carried out that performance expectancy, hedonic motivation and anxiety directly and indirectly influences to purchase intention. The analysis of the moderating effect on eco-friendliness attitude was also studied to have a moderating effect on all independent variables except for the effort expectancy. Based on the AVAM model, this study found that the hypothesis of the preceding study was mostly supported except effort expectancy. The result achieved that performance expectancy, hedonic motivation, anxiety, facilitating condition and eco-friendliness had a statistically meaningful relationship with acceptance and purchase intention in Korea autonomous vehicle and above findings could suggest small direction for further autonomous vehicle study.

Though the product transition from old product(EOL) to new product(NPI) has happened frequently, over-stock, insolvent-stock and loss of sales, arising from ineffective product transition during Product Transition Periods(PTP), has been more frequently reported rather than growth of sales and revenue.
This study has been purposed to conduct an empirical study to derive the optimal inventory model for optimal inventory maintenance during Product Transition Periods. For the purpose of empirical analysis, inventory data of 85 products of company A which is a electronics manufacturing company has been analyzed. Inventory graphs for five stock types have been derived and generalized through pattern analysis by inventory type. Among the five types of inventory management during the product transition period, this study has shown that "S-shaped overlapping intersection type" is an optimal inventory model by way of analysis of actual cases. The validity of this study has been verified through scenarios simulations using Mixed Integer Programming(MIP) method.

As the logistics industry in Northeast Asia grows rapidly, there is a need to grow domestic logistics companies with international competitiveness. The government introduced the comprehensive logistics company certification system in 2006 to revamp the structure of the domestic logistics market and further develop a comprehensive logistics company with international competitiveness.
In spite of the difficult authentication procedures and the benefits of certification, the question of the effectiveness of the logistics company certification has been raised. The purpose of this study is to verify the validity of the certification of comprehensive logistics company.
In this study, we examined the short-term, mid-term and long-term effects of acquisition and cancellation of a comprehensive logistics company's corporate value on long-term event research methodology. In conclusion, the acquisition of a comprehensive logistics company affects the corporate value negatively in the medium-and long-term but has a positive impact in the long-term. The cancellation of the general logistics company affects the short-term negative impact but not the other.

After the rapid development of information and communication technologies, the parcel delivery service industry is expected to be developed into an industry that provides a variety of services to meet diversified demands. In this study, we predicted the future of the parcel delivery service industry and the role of the digital information in it. Particularly in this study, it was confirmed that each company has its own electronic information format of the parcel delivery for its sharing among related companies and those are not standardized and indicated it may cause a delay in the development on the parcel delivery service industry into the demand-oriented and specialized service industry. And as a solution to this problem, a standard proposal for the electronic information format of parcel delivery services, consisting of transportation information, cargo information, and delivery information, was proposed. Unlike the other studies, the difference in the electronic information format has been confirmed based on the actual parcel delivery information sharing cases. In this study, it was intended to contribute to the draft of the electronic information format as a policy alternative for the future development of the parcel delivery service industry.
